Ministry Description
Glenn is a music evangelist (instrumentalist), with a mission to win the lost and minister to the saints through the church and have been active in the church since the 60’s. He contracted a critical illness in 2008 and was unable to serve again until recently. In 1990, Glenn operated a Christian recording studio for ten years and formed a Christian music group called, “Forgiven.”
Glenn was formerly a member of Conference of Texas Baptist Evangelists (COTBE), and has traveled all over the south sharing the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Glenn was voted “Musician of the Year” by the South Texas Gospel Music Association and was President of the Kentucky Conference of Southern Baptist Evangelists in 2004.
Glenn completed the Billy Graham School of Evangelism January 2018. In 2019, he formed a non-profit evangelistic association, the Glenn Dawson Evangelist Association, Inc.
On November 17, 2019, our church, Broadway Baptist Church, Lexington, KY voted to license me to the ministry as a Music Evangelist.
